What we collect
We collect only what's needed to rent gear to you: name, email, phone, rental dates, and whatever basic identification Gearbooker requires for insurance. No data sold or shared with third parties beyond payment processors. We don't build advertising profiles; the only ad-related thing we measure, with your consent, is whether one of our own ads led you here (see Analytics & advertising measurement).
Analytics & advertising measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic patterns and Google Ads conversion measurement to learn whether our own ads lead to bookings. Both run in consent mode: if you don't accept the cookie banner, no analytics or ad-measurement cookies are set. We never enable personalised advertising or remarketing — measurement is strictly about our own campaigns. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page — it reopens the banner so you can accept or reject again.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own — booking happens on Gearbooker, under their own privacy policy. Your language and cookie choices are kept in your browser's local storage, never sent to us. The only cookies that can appear here are opt-in Google cookies for analytics (GA4) and ad-conversion measurement (Google Ads), and they appear only after you accept the banner. No personalised-advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal data any time. Email info@fotorent.nl and we'll respond within 30 days (usually within 48 hours).
